Will True Love Ever Find Me?

“I don’t deserve to be loved.”

Coleen Barsibal believed this to be true after going through many traumatic experiences with family and romantic relationships.

It started with her father leaving them for another woman. Her mother was then diagnosed with schizophrenia, while her eldest sibling claimed their own life.

Since then, there wasn’t a permanent place that she could call home. She and her other siblings were passed on from one relative to another.

Did you experience the same problems, too? How did you overcome?

Coleen thought that the answer to her problems was doing vices with her friends. While these made her forget her problems, she eventually realized that it was only temporary, and these could not give her the genuine joy she seeks in life.

Believing her life was meaningless and pointless, Coleen also started entering romantic relationships. She urged her then-boyfriend to engage in sexual activities with her, despite him initially refusing to do it. He ended up cheating on her and breaking her heart.

She recalled asking herself, “My world crumbled down. I felt lonely again. My heart, body, and soul were so tired. Where is my life headed?”

At that moment, she asked God to give her the right man for her because she was tired of everything that she went through.

One day, she got an unexpected friend request on a social media site. It was from Sylverio, her classmate and crush from sixth grade. They started messaging each other, building a relationship together, and even co-habiting before they got married.

Is this finally the part where she finds peace and joy? Unfortunately, not.

Coleen found out that Sylverio has a child, and that the mother was using her child to get him back. One time when she called her boyfriend, the woman answered the phone and told Coleen that she’s in a hotel with Sylverio.

Although Sylverio ended up choosing Coleen over the other woman, she was still bothered and couldn’t sleep at night.

Thankfully, God had an amazing plan that would change Coleen’s life forever.

One sleepless night, she stumbled upon The 700 Club Asia, where she discovered that God loves her despite her past.

She prayed with the host and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Her burdens felt lighter now that she has a personal relationship with God.

You can experience this miracle as well when you let Jesus into your life and believe that He can save you! According to Romans 10:9 (NIV), “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

God did not only restore Coleen’s relationship with Him, but with her loved ones as well.

“I learned to forgive even when the person did not apologize to me. I can now tell my father, ‘I love you’ and to my siblings, ‘I forgive you’. That’s how powerful God’s love is,” she testified.

God also restored Coleen’s relationship with Sylverio, and they tied the knot in 2014. Thanks to The 700 Club Asia, she was able to find a Christian church where she and her husband can grow in faith.

They are now part of a discipleship group that helps them love and know Jesus deeper. The couple also publicly declared their faith through their baptism.

But that is not the end of God’s amazing blessings for Coleen. She also passed the nursing board exam and is now using her profession to show God’s love to others.

Coleen now proudly says, “Yes, I have finally found true love and it can only be found in God.”

Are you looking for true love as well? Do the world’s definitions and expressions of love continue to disappoint you over and over again?

Turn to God, the Author of love! There is always hope because you are covered by His unconditional and unending love.

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed.” (Isaiah 54:10 NIV)

How Do You Find Hope After Your Heart is Broken Thrice?

A loving marriage was the dream. Growing up in a happy home, Leah Villarin always thought that getting married is the best thing that could ever happen in her life.

That was not until she found out that the love of her life was sleeping with another woman.

As she witnessed her husband’s infidelity, her dream quickly turned into a nightmare. Angry and disappointed, Leah held the knife and aimed it against her husband. She was overpowered by him and was unable to do anything about it.

Feeling defeated and miserable, she walked home alone.

Despite the painful memory of her cheating husband, Leah hoped that their marriage would still work out. But her husband was not done yet. It was not long before Leah found out that he had another affair.

Desperate to have her husband back, she marched to his mistress and begged on her knees to give back the love of her life. But the marriage contract she clung to wasn’t enough to save their already broken marriage.

With a broken heart, Leah had to accept the reality that their relationship was beyond repair.

Life continued for Leah. With her children’s growing needs in mind, Leah flew to Manila and took her chances. After landing a job as a mannequin model, she fell in love again with another man, Nestor, with whom she bore three children.

But love was not better the second time around for Leah.

In fact, her second love almost ended her life. Nestor became a drug addict and became abusive. Leah shared that Nestor tried to kill her with a bolo knife while she was sleeping. Holding on to dear life, Leah and her sons escaped Nestor’s unstable, abusive behavior.

For the second time around, Leah had to move on and start anew. But Leah, being a firm believer of true love, fell in love the third time. And for the third time, had her heart broken again.

Leah had enough this time. Filled with rage, pain, and regret, she questioned God about everything she went through.

“Do you hear me, Lord? What else do you want from me?! It’s better to just end this,” Leah recollected with tears.

Tired of love and depressed about her situation, Leah wanted one thing—she wanted to die.

Like Leah, have you ever had your heart broken after loving so much? Have you ever felt that you didn’t deserve what you’re going through, and you just wanted to end it all?

You are not alone.

In Leah’s darkest moment, God made her realize that there are people ready to listen to her story. She came across the numbers at The 700 Club Asia.

Without hesitation, Leah texted and pleaded for prayers as she wanted to kill herself that time. That same night, she received a phone call from the CBN Asia Prayer Center.

A call that would eventually turn her life around.

“I am so tired. I give up. I want to end this. This time I’ll really kill myself,” Leah recalled from that phone call.

From that phone call, she experienced the true and unchanging love she’s always been looking for. A redeeming love that made her realize how sinful and prideful she was and how deep God’s love for her is.

As Isaiah 54:10 says, “For the mountains may move, and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain.”

Even when everyone walks away from your life and turns their back against you, the love of the Lord will remain faithful. Even when everything you worked for turn into rubble, the Lord will be constant.

For Leah, there was nothing left to live for. But for Jesus, her best life was just about to unfold. Because of that phone call, she was able to connect to a local church where she grew deeper in her understanding of God’s love for her. She regained hope and faith that God will not leave her.

Leah praised God for the people He brought to her life in her darkest moments, especially, The 700 Club Asia.

Looking at her life, one might argue that believing in love again would be pointless. But for so long, Leah had a wrong understanding of what love is. Real love is this: to lay down one’s life for another. A kind of love that only Jesus can offer.

A kind of love that Leah experienced.

The kind of love that made her heal, hope, and love again.

Are you desperate for a new beginning?

Draw near to the God of second chances and let Him author your story. Only through Him can we start afresh and hope again.

Overwhelmed with gratitude to the Lord, Leah ended with words of praise.

“All I can say is thank you Lord! Hold me close to You, because till the day I die, I am Yours.”

The story of Leah is a testament of God’s redeeming power. When all she wanted was to die, the Lord reminded her the there’s so much to life in Christ. That’s the same way with you.

In your hopelessness, you can hope through the revelation of who Christ is!

Once a Sinner, Now a Servant of God

Education is a basic human right, but for many people, it remains an unreachable dream. It is also considered as an undeserved privilege for families living in poverty who worry more about what they will eat to survive, and don’t have access to quality education.

Like the story of Marian Balmes.

Growing up with seven other siblings, Marian witnessed how her parents constantly fought because of lack of money.

Her father is a farmer, while her mother sells vegetables at the local market. What they could offer to their children was just food on the table and a shelter.

Education was not among the options.

Because of the constant fights between her parents and lack of provision in some cases, Marian felt deprived of parental love and care.

“There came a point that I craved to be taken care of and be loved by a parent,” she shared with tears in her eyes.

But her parents were busy making ends meet.

Thinking that they didn’t care enough for her, Marian grew up hard-hearted and rebelled against her parents.

This affected their family relationships. And when they couldn’t handle it anymore, Marian was sent to her sister’s home in Bulacan.

Little did she know, her life would change the moment she left home.

Marian realized that she needed to do something to change her rebellious ways to have a better life compared to what she grew up in.

For her, education is the answer. She was determined and was willing to change just for her parents to support her financially.

But when they couldn’t, her hope died. When she finally mustered the courage to change, no one showed up to help and support her.

Did you also find yourself in a situation where you knew what you needed to do to change the course of your life, but lacked support?

Were your hopes and dreams once shattered because of your family’s situation?

Did you feel like giving up and was tempted to go back to your old ways?

It was like that for Marian, too.

But thanks be to God, her story didn’t end there!

On the verge of losing hope, her aunt, who is a pastor, encouraged her to sign up to the Back-to-School program of Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm.

This program aims to provide financial help to underprivileged yet deserving students. During the pandemic, this initiative also provided gadgets so that students can attend online classes.

It was in 2019 when Marian’s dream to go to college was answered by God through this very program.

She witnessed firsthand how God can make a way when there seems to be no way, and how God can provide support even when her family couldn’t.

With a renewed hope in her heart, Marian opened her heart to God. She grew a deeper understanding of God’s word. The Lord also softened her heart. That’s why now, she has a good relationship with her family, too.

Marian is in her 2nd year in college, pursuing a degree in elementary education. It’s in her heart to help children who have similar stories like hers.

In her own words, “My way of life changed. The person who was once a sinner, now became a servant of God.”

Are you losing hope in life?

Do you feel like it’s impossible to change your situation?

Bring your concerns to God, for He can and will help you find hope again. So, put your hope in Him. Whether He transforms your heart from a sinner to a servant, or surrounds you with people who can help, God will make a way.

God is a God of hope—this means that those who trust in Him always have reason to be full of hope!

“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.” (Psalm 62:5 NLT)

How to Find Hope in Troubled Times?

Have you had an experience where important things in your life were taken away from you?

Edwin Ducayag knows exactly how you feel. He felt that everything was taken away from him when a magnitude 7.3 earthquake shook their place in San Antonio, Bangued, in Abra.

Edwin was at home with his family when the earthquake happened. Their saw how the place they called home fell apart, leaving them with broken walls and broken appliances.

It was during that trying time that Edwin’s family couldn’t do anything but cry—seeing how the home they built for years crumbled right before their very eyes.

“I was in tears. I worked hard for this house for four years, but now, it’s gone,” Edwin lamented.

Along with their home and livelihood, the earthquake shattered their hopes, too. There was no clean water for them to drink and no food to fill their stomachs. Edwin didn’t know how to begin again. In his heart was discouragement and fear for possible aftershocks.

Like Edwin, are you experiencing troubles and difficulties, too?

In devastating times like this, God reminds through His Word that you can always find hope in Him. As Psalm 46:1 says, God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”

God hears your cries for help. Look to God for refuge and strength, for no situation is too hard for Him! God is with you, and He can use people who can help you in your situation.

Like what happened to Edwin and the rest of the people affected by the earthquake, God used Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm, to answer their call for help.

Operation Blessing brought food bags and clean water that would last for a week. Most importantly, they shared hope to the residents—the kind of hope that can never be taken away by earthquakes or any disasters in life.  The hope that can only be found in Jesus.

Edwin is so grateful for the help they received from Operation Blessing. The help doesn’t end as Operation Blessing teams are still in Abra with the Philippine Army and CBN Asia partners who continuously offer relief to affected communities.

“To everyone who helped Operation Blessing reach our place, thank you very much! Hopefully, more blessings will come your way,” Edwin shared.

Indeed, there is a Savior, Jesus Christ, who is mighty to help you in times of trouble!

No matter what the future may bring, you can hope in Him. With His unfailing love, He will guide you, sustain you, and protect you.

Let Your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in You alone.” (Psalm 33:22 NLT)

How to cope after a disaster

6 Tips to Help You Cope with Disasters

Earthquakes. Volcanic eruptions. Typhoons and floods.

Disasters come and go—but can leave a lasting impact on people’s lives. They either inspire people to be resilient and prepare for the next calamities, or they cause stress and anxiety to those who are severely affected.

If you recently experienced a natural disaster, perhaps you would agree that it can take a heavy toll on people’s physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual health.

So, how do you cope when disasters strike?

Here are 6 things you can do to help yourself and your family overcome catastrophic events:

How to cope after a disaster

Tip #1: Take care of yourself

It may be hard to prioritize self-care during a disaster, but taking care of yourself is an important part of recovery. A healthy mind and body will help you think clearly and respond effectively to the urgent needs of your family.

So, make sure you continue with your normal routines such as eating healthy, getting enough sleep, and exercising regularly. Doctors at Verywell Mind agrees and emphasized that practicing self-care will help you cope better physically, mentally, and emotionally.

How to cope after a disaster

Tip #2: Limit sources of stress

Isn’t it too tempting to watch the breaking news, to scroll down your newsfeed, and to know every update about an ongoing disaster?

Watching the news can help you stay informed, but too much of it can also bring feelings of hopelessness and stress. One of the most helpful steps you can take following a disaster is to limit your exposure to news.

This could mean lessening your exposure to visual pictures of the recent events and doing other activities that can bring you joy.

How to cope after a disaster

Tip #3: Talk about your feelings and experience

Voicing out your feelings to your family and friends on how this event has affected you can help alleviate stress.

Experts from Psychology Today back this up, sharing that simply talking about your problems and negative feelings can reduce physical or emotional distress and strengthen immune system.

So don’t hesitate to reach out. Encourage one another and build each other up! (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

Tip #4: Seek professional help

Are you extremely disturbed about the recent disasters?

Not wanting everyone to know that you’re struggling is understandable. But if you feel that the stress is too much to bear, here’s something to comfort you: You don’t have to go through everything alone. (hydeparkrecords)

God wants you to seek help from others and trust that they can support you. Jesus could’ve done all the miracles during His time here on earth, yet He chose to empower His disciples to help and heal others (Matthew 10:1). In the same way, God can empower doctors and mental health professionals to help you go through this very challenging season.

How to cope after a disaster

Tip #5: Find ways to help others

You might be thinking, “Why would I help others, I just experienced a disaster!”

It might seem counterintuitive to help others while you are trying to recover from a disaster—yet studies from the Clinical Psychological Science Journal show that helping others can reduce your worries, uncertainties, and stress.

Alleviating other people’s suffering can give you a sense of purpose, a motivation that even amid hardships, you can make a positive impact on the lives of your kababayans. If you have the resources, you can partner with Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines and lend a helping hand to those who are also severely affected by disasters.

How to cope after a disaster

Tip #6: Pray for your family and community

One of the best ways to rise above this disastrous event is to look out for each other, pray for one another, and lean on God as your source of hope and strength.

Matthew 18:20 NIV says, “For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.”

In times like this, coming together in prayer and promoting peace encourage people not to stay in a place of despair. It is an opportunity to know God more and reassure yourself and others that He is your comfort in times of trouble.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1 NIV)

5 Effective Ways to Share God’s Love on Social Media

What’s on your mind?

Millions of people use social media every day to share what’s on their mind. While many posts bring people together, some online conversations have driven people apart.

You might be wondering what you can do to have a positive influence online. You might be thinking, “How can I use my social media to share God’s love?”

Thankfully, as Jesus Christ lives in you, He can help you use your platforms in sharing His comfort to the hurting, helpless, and hopeless.

Spreading the Good News anywhere is a blessing! So here are 5 ways on how you can share the love of God on social media:

 1. Share the Word of God

Did you know that when you share a Bible verse, you are planting seeds of faith into the hearts of the people and helping them reflect on the Word of God?

In a study titled, Effects of Christian Faith Sharing through Social Media, researchers found out that faith sharing through social media significantly impacts the beliefs and behavior of those who encounter those posts.

So, share that morning verse you have read in your devotional book in social media. Post your favorite worship song. Retweet that powerful testimony so others can be strengthened, too.

Who knows, maybe one of your friends needs a little encouragement and that post could pop up just in time. You might not know the impact of those messages to their life, but God’s Word is alive, and He can use your posts to touch their hearts.

Are you looking for inspiring content to share today? CBN Asia website, Facebook, Twitter, and Tiktok accounts have an array of articles, stories, and videos that can help strengthen people’s faith in God. Click that share button now!

2. Tell your story

How has God blessed you? Share it today!

Your personal testimony is a powerful tool in sharing what God has done and continues to do in your life. It doesn’t just represent you coming to Jesus—it can also bring others to Him.

In his interview with Live the Word Love the Word, social media content creator Doug Kramer shared how he maximizes their family’s platform to share about the goodness of God in their lives.

They share their usual family activities like praying together, teaching their kids Christian values, and glorifying God in their successes and everyday lives.

Whether you have thousands of followers or just a few, your story and answered prayers can influence others, too!

3. Pray for your friends on social media

Noticed that friend’s post about health issues? Reach out to that friend and send a prayer. It will surely lighten the burden. If you know someone who is going through a challenging situation, grab that opportunity to share the love of God and pray for that person.

Another simple yet powerful way to share God’s love on social media is to ask your friends if they have any prayer request. Let them know that in every situation, they can always come to God through prayer.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6 NIV)

4. Help others and encourage your online friends to do the same

Share God’s kindness by supporting your kababayans in need. While you’re at it, you can share posts on outreach activities, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support His ministry—like Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm—to encourage others to help as well.

As you experience God’s blessings, you can inspire your online friends that they can be a blessing, too.

5. Simply be nice

In the era of cancel-culture, endless rants, and online bullying, there is always room for kindness.

Make a difference by simply being nice on social media. As Matthew 5:16 puts it perfectly, let your light shine before your online friends, so that they may see those good works and glorify your Heavenly Father.

Maximize your online presence by sharing, inspiring, and encouraging others to grow in their faith. Tell your friends that God loves them so much that He gave His life to the world. Take every opportunity to share about God’s Word.

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’” (Mark 16:15 NIV)

From Pride to Freedom, From Being Gay to Being a Man of God

Rocking the stage of gay beauty pageants in gowns and five-inch heels. Winning Miss Gay Asia. Enjoying lavish parties as an entertainer in Japan.

This was the lifestyle of Rhory Mearns. And he absolutely loved it—until the day he suddenly didn’t.

Rhory was living what many today would consider “the dream life.”

He was rich, beautiful, famous, and is considered as one of the most successful gay beauty queens in the 90’s after he was crowned Miss Gay Avon Davao and Miss Gay Asia.

The Filipino-Australian began the lifestyle early, after experiencing same-sex attraction around 12.

“When I was a child, my preference was to play with girls. I was shocked that I started to like the same sex. That time I was already struggling with identity crisis,” Rhory recalled.

Like Rhory, are you also questioning your sense of self or place in the world?

As for Rhory, he embraced his homosexual feelings since then and entered the world of beauty pageants. With a crown on his head and a title under his name, Rhory admitted that he became too boastful and arrogant.

Pride started to ruin him and his relationships with people, he recounted, “You were not allowed to talk to me if I didn’t like you. If you were not a beauty queen, you were not allowed to raise your eyebrows at me. As I won contests, my pride ruined me. I became too boastful.”

When Rhory moved to Japan to work as an entertainer, he began falling deeper into worldly acts. Rhory entered multiple same-sex relationships which left him feeling empty and used.

“I thought having multiple relationships would make me beautiful and famous. But, in reality, my life was messed up,” he shared.

Fame. Money. Beauty. Relationships.

Rhory had all these things, yet it still wasn’t enough. Behind the glitz and glamor of his chosen lifestyle, his actions have left a trail of misery in its wake.

He felt stuck in his ways and thought nothing would change—until he flew back to Philippines.

Little did he know, attending a funeral service would be the start of his brand-new life.

“The pastor preached, ‘Who wants to go to heaven?’ Everybody raised their hands, but I did not raise mine because my hair was too long, and my lips were too plump with lipstick. That was pride. But I said in my heart, ‘I want to go to heaven,’” Rhory narrated.

The preacher asked again, and this time, Rhory faced the most important decision he had to make. The question resonated in his heart, “Who wants to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior?”

Everyone raised their hands again except Rhory, who discreetly responded, “I know you are God. I won’t raise my hand, but I accept you as my Lord and Savior.”

Back to his hotel room, Rhory sat at the edge of his bed—pondering on his life and the decision he just made. He gazed upon the Bible on the nightstand and held it close to his heart. He wasn’t prepared for the flashbacks that followed.

“I remembered everything I’ve done. I prayed, ‘Lord, I am so sorry. I don’t know where to start or what should I do. I don’t know how to read Your Word. But I accepted you a while ago. Is it true that I am saved?’

He received God’s message when He opened the Bible, in 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

The Word of God struck Rhory, like an arrow through his heart. With tears streaming down his face, he prayed and repented for every sin he has done.

Rhory cut his hair, changed the way he dressed, and threw away everything that reminded him of his old life—even the pride that ruled his heart. Despite the criticisms, he stood his ground.

God turned his situation upside down and brought him the kind of freedom that he never knew was possible.

Seeking God’s truth, Rhory enrolled to a Bible school where his faith blossomed fruitfully, and eventually became a pastor—a man of God who reached out to the members of the LGBT community.

“I surrendered my life, and it was all by the grace of God. I am just a manifestation of His grace. I wasn’t saved because of my deeds or works—I was saved because of what God has done,” Rhory testified.

Are you struggling with pride?

Are you questioning who you are and your purpose in life?

There are days when the world will try to lead you to a path toward the identity you built on your own. Your own pride. Your own strength.

It’s so tempting to build yourself on what the world says or what you accomplish. But, ultimately, your true identity is based on what God has done for you. In Christ, you are loved.

You are chosen, and you are forgiven. You are a child of God.

As you embrace His truth and persevere to obey, you can discover freedom and transformation. Doubts, confusion, or pride will fade. His truth will remain.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.” (1 John 3:1 NIV)

You don’t have to face your struggles alone. Our trained prayer counselors at the CBN Asia Prayer Center would love to encourage you and uplift you through prayers. Call 8-737-0-700 or send your prayer requests to our Facebook page.

3 Practical Health and Wellness Tips for Men

June is Men’s Health Month!

Do you want to take good care of your loved ones? Staying healthy is the key! A healthier mind, body, and spirit enable you to care for your family and spend more time with them.

Check out these 3 practical health and wellness tips that will benefit you and your family:

Tip #1: Take care of your physical health

You might be working so hard that you’re not aware of the consequences of unhealthy lifestyle and bad eating habits. It is never too late to adopt a healthy lifestyle! Remember that a healthy body will help you live a productive life.

How do you take care of your physical health?

In his interview with Beyond Small Talk, coach and motivational speaker LA Mumar said that eating right, drinking lots of water, and getting enough sleep are so basic, but they can make a positive difference to your health.

For Coach LA, observing a healthy lifestyle is really important. Being healthy and staying fit allow him to take good care of his loved ones.

He encourages men to exercise and advises fathers to engage their children while working out. For instance, he plays basketball and swims with his two boys. It’s like hitting two birds with one stone–he gets to exercise and bond with his kids at the same time.

This is a great idea for a busy person who juggles family, work, and other responsibilities. Try exercising or playing different kinds of sports with your family members. It will not only keep you in shape, but it’ll also let you enjoy the bonding experience with your loved ones.

Tip #2: Nurture your mental health

Many people are still affected by health issues, financial problems, and other challenges brought by the pandemic. If anything is weighing you down, it’s time to look after your mental health.

Inspirational speaker Carl Pascua shared tips to overcome anxiety, and suggested that reconnecting with your loved ones, spending time praying and reading the Bible, and looking for something that can give you fulfillment are all vital for a healthy mental health.

Tip #3: Nourish your spiritual health

Just as you eat, exercise, and keep your physical body healthy, you need to recharge from the ultimate source of strength—God. Carve out time to pray and rest in the presence of your Heavenly Father.

The 700 Club Asia host Erick Totanes shared the benefits of cultivating a prayer life, “A man connected to God through prayer, discerns well, hears well, understands well, and leads their lives well and the family that they have.”

Follow these health and wellness tips to stay healthy not only for yourself, but for your loved ones as well!

You are seen. You are heard. You are appreciated by your children.

At times when you feel tired and you think your works are in vain, look up to God who will restore your strength and continue to protect and bless your hard work.

“For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. Your restoration is what we pray for.” (2 Corinthians 13:9, ESV)

To the father who is having a hard time providing for his family,

God knows your worries. He knows how much you try to be the best father you could ever be. He knows how much you sweat it out just to provide a good life for your family.

In all that you do, know that you are never alone. You don’t have to carry all the burden. Your Father in Heaven is waiting for you to put your hopes in Him. Trust Him. He is your Faithful Helper and Great Provider.

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19, NASB)

To the father who is away from his family,

We know you cannot wait to see your children. You are longing to finally be with them, hold them in your arms, and take care of them. Time and circumstances may not allow it now, but do not worry.

God sees your heart and he knows how much you want to reconnect with your family. Come to Him and never get tired of praying for restorationTake heart and keep the faith. He is in control.

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28, NLT)

All your life, you longed for that ‘father figure’ who could teach you how to be a good man and a good father. Now that you have entered the world of fatherhood, it feels like throwing darts in the dark – without guidance and direction. It must have been very difficult, but we are in awe because you still took the courage to carry the responsibility of being a dad.

You may not have an earthly father to guide you, but know that your Heavenly Father has been and will always be with you. He is your perfect parentBHis grace, you can be the best father you can be, as He guides you and makes your paths straight.

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. (Romans 8:14, NIV)

Thank you for your unconditional and selfless love. Be encouraged, for the Lord is with you every step of the way.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done.” (Philippians 4:6 NLT)

To the father who lost his child,

Losing your precious child is an overwhelming anguish no one prepared you for.

When words are not enough to comfort your aching wounds, God still hears your wordless groans. He sees your pain, and He wants to heal and comfort you. Let your Heavenly Father’s comforting arms embrace you.

You pour your heart out to raise young men that loves God, and we appreciate you for that. Whether you’re a mentor, a pastor, or discipler, God sees your passion to walk the extra mile as a spiritual father for those who doesn’t have one.

Thank you, for stepping in and leading theinto greatness and godliness. May God abundantly bless your efforts as you lead the next generation of leaders, of men who proclaim the saving love of Jesus Christ!

Thank You, for the unconditional love that You have showered upon us. Thank You, for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to save us. Words will never be enough for us to express our adoration and gratitude for all that You have done and will continue to do in our lives.

Thank You for taking care of us and providing for us. Thank You for protecting us and for guiding us along the right path. Thank You, Abba.
