Planting Faith in the Hearts of Children Through Superbook

What do you want your child to grow up knowing?

For many parents, it’s important that their children grow up with faith in God. That’s why some schools and families use Superbook as a helpful tool in teaching Bible stories and values.

Last February, a two-day Sabay-Sabay Lilipad Caravan, a Superbook event that travels to different parts of the Philippines to share the Good News of Christ, was held in Aroroy, Masbate.

The first stop was at Rufo C. Pajes Sr. Central School. Elementary students gathered to watch Superbook and meet Gizmo. Even though it was a hot day, the children and teachers actively joined the singing, dancing, and games.

They watched the Superbook episode “Doubting Thomas,” where they learned to trust and have faith in Jesus.

The second event took place at the Tico Maristela Sports and Cultural Center, where children from nearby schools and churches attended. They were excited to watch and participate in the activities. One of the attendees, Eliyah (center), shared, “We watch Superbook in school, and it helped me learn more about God… He is good and powerful.”

The children eagerly joined the games, shared the Bible verses they had learned, and even the teachers participated. They also watched the Superbook episode “Doubting Thomas.” Every school and church present had the opportunity to take photos with Gizmo and dance The Salvation Poem with him twice!

The event was organized with the help of Ms. Noemi Salvacion Berces, owner and former principal of Learning Is Fun Children’s Center, one of the participating schools.

She shared, “We use Superbook as part of our curriculum to teach the Word of God to our students. Through the stories, they learn about Him at an early age. And when parents see what their children are learning, we also help connect them to churches near their community.”

Through Superbook, children are learning about God while families are being guided closer to Him.

As written in Book of Proverbs 22:6:

“Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.”

Together, we can continue planting seeds of faith in the next generation and the generations to come. Partner with us and help reach more children across the Philippines by visiting www.cbnasia.com/give
