CBN Asia held a special gathering for its valued Pillars, donors, and partners to celebrate God’s faithfulness and honor the faithful individuals who have invested in His work, held at The 700 Club Asia Studio in Makati City, October 18.

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and joy as The 700 Club Asia’s beloved hosts, Kata Inocencio and Icko Gonzalez, gracefully led the afternoon’s celebration. It began with a heartfelt time of worship led by Reverb Worship’s Viola Natividad and Joselle Feliciano.

CBN Asia’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer John Tan, together with The 700 Club Asia host Sonjia Calit through a special video report, shared inspiring updates on the ministry’s efforts to reach the next generation for Christ.
They shared how through Superbook, children continue to learn God’s Word in creative ways—through the Kingdom Generation VBS Kit, Superbook Academy, Superbook episodes in Bisaya, and the updated Superbook App. Exciting new projects such as the Superbook Missions Trip in Japan and the upcoming Oyayi Season 2 also reflect CBN Asia’s deep heart for children and families.

“We have to fight for the attention of the children,” John Tan said, emphasizing the importance of helping the next generation fix their eyes on God amid today’s digital distractions.
Attendees also witnessed a moving update on Operation Blessing’s disaster relief efforts across the country, highlighting how practical help and spiritual hope continue to reach those in need. In a live report, the EVP-COO shared about Operation Blessing’s ongoing relief work in Davao, where teams distributed food packs, provided clean water, and brought encouragement to affected families through Superbook.

Adding to the day’s excitement was the announcement of the Christian animated film “Light of the World,” brought to local theaters by CBN Asia, which opens in Philippine cinemas on December 10.
CBN Asia also honored its new Pillars and Servant Leader awardee, recognizing their unwavering support for the ministry. Among them were Raul and Chona Bongato, who began giving in 2014.
“We see how CBN Asia is being used by the Lord. We believe in their work, especially in reaching out to the underprivileged,” Chona shared.

Also in attendance was Rina Filart, an “OG” CBN Asia Pillar, who, with her husband Abet—a founding trustee of the ministry—has supported CBN Asia even before its formal establishment in 1994.
“Partnering with CBN Asia was a conscious and deliberate decision. It could do what we couldn’t do—to go where we cannot go,” Rina recalled.
She added, “God has blessed our lives. His faithfulness has been evident in our journey, and a huge part of that is being part of ministries such as this. The greatest investment is to see souls being saved—that’s the return of our investment.”

After an inspiring time of testimonies and thanksgiving, guests enjoyed a delightful merienda and fellowship filled with joy and heartfelt conversations.
The celebration continued with Peter and Christine Kairuz, who shared an uplifting snippet of their ‘Seasons of Love’ seminar—a ministry that strengthens marriages and families across the Philippines and around the world. They also gave a preview of their exciting new project, the ‘Beyond Small Talk’ podcast, launching this November, where they will share insights on faith, relationships, and family life every week.

The gathering was a beautiful reminder that every transformed life, every child reached, and every community helped is made possible by God’s grace—and by the faithful prayers and support of CBN Asia’s partners.
