Maeflor Del Rosario discovered this truth for herself when she was diagnosed with Pott’s Disease.

She didn’t expect it to be serious. It began with back pain—sharp, persistent, and growing worse by the day.
What started as discomfort turned into agony. Soon, she couldn’t move her legs. Even sitting became a struggle.

“It was causing me so much trouble. I couldn’t do anything at home, and I couldn’t work anymore either,” Maeflor shared.
It was during the pandemic, and money was tight, and they couldn’t afford treatment. So Maeflor tried to endure the pain, hoping it would eventually go away.
But it didn’t.
Three months later, it had become unbearable. Her family rushed her to the hospital, and the diagnosis—Pott’s Disease. A spinal infection caused by tuberculosis. A life-threatening one.

The doctor said she needed surgery within five days. Without it, she might not survive.
But how do you choose between life and a surgery you can’t afford?
With no money and nowhere else to turn, Maeflor went home, still in pain.
Are you in a place where pain speaks louder than hope? Where the healing feels impossible?
Maeflor’s story is a reminder that God is still able to heal.
In the quiet of her home, Maeflor tuned in to The 700 Club Asia. That night, she witnessed prayers of healing. Stories of faith. And in those prayers and stories, there came a whisper of hope. She also found someone to pray with through the CBN Asia Prayer Center, available day and night, always ready to listen, always ready to pray.

The pain didn’t vanish overnight. The questions were still there. But in Maeflor’s heart, faith was starting to rise again.
Not long after, she returned to the hospital for a biopsy. They needed to check if it was cancerous. But before they could even proceed, one doctor stepped in and told them that the biopsy wasn’t needed anymore. God also used him as an instrument of healing.
From that moment on, Maeflor’s condition began to improve slowly, steadily. Month by month, she was gaining strength.
Then, January 2022 came—and with it, the words she had been waiting for—she was Pott’s Disease free!
Maeflor couldn’t hold back her tears.
“God showed me He still heals—even today,” she testified.

Now, Maeflor is completely healed, grateful, joyfully married, and soon to welcome her first child.
