Have you ever had everything you need, yet still feel like something is missing?
That was Maribel’s reality.

Maribel, an Operations Manager in her family’s garment business, often wondered why her achievements didn’t fill the emptiness inside her. Although she thrived at work, her heart felt incomplete, as if something was still missing.
Even though she was doing what she could, a question echoed in her mind: “Shouldn’t I be content? I wake up, go to work, sleep, then repeat. Is this all there is to life?”
On top of that, workplace issues began piling up. A conflict in operations led to tension, misunderstandings, and strained relationships with her colleagues.
Then one evening, after another long day, Maribel stumbled upon The 700 Club Asia on television. Through its stories of hope and transformation, she learned about CBN Asia’s Prayer Center.

“I asked for prayer because I couldn’t understand what I was feeling,” she recalled. “There was a counselor who asked me, ‘Would you like to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior?’ I said yes. I didn’t even notice I was smiling. I felt genuinely happy. I said, ‘Lord, You’re amazing.’”
Like Maribel, have you ever felt a love that no one else could offer?
Her decision that year marked the beginning of a remarkable spiritual awakening. As she accepted Jesus, Maribel experienced an inner peace that she had never known before. The emptiness vanished, replaced by a newfound sense of purpose.

Maribel joined a Bible study group connected with the Prayer Center, finding in them not only spiritual mentors but a second family. Together, they encouraged one another, prayed for each other’s needs, and grew in humility and faith.
As Maribel’s faith deepened, so did her capacity for forgiveness. She let go of past hurt and extended grace to those who wronged her, restoring broken relationships at work and at home. Her humility shone through every interaction, and family bonds strengthened as they saw the transformation in her life.

Maribel’s heart also opened to giving back. She became a faithful donor to Operation Blessing and continued her calls to the Prayer Center. “It feels so fulfilling to help because God used CBN Asia to change my life. That’s why I said, ‘Lord, for as long as I live, I’ll keep giving.’”
Today, Maribel stands as living proof that true success isn’t measured by titles or achievements, but by the condition of the heart. She discovered that the greatest fulfillment comes from knowing Jesus, forgiving others, and serving selflessly.
