Are You Fighting for Your Marriage?

What would you do if your marriage was falling apart, but you had to stay strong for your child?

Melanie Remigio faced that very moment. As a mother and wife, she discovered something that shattered her heart.

She found out that her husband, an OFW in Saipan, had been exchanging sweet messages with another woman on Facebook. She couldn’t believe it at first because everything felt fine between them.

The pain was overwhelming, but she held on for their only daughter.

Sleepless nights came often, as the sting of betrayal filled her mind. She regretted letting him go abroad. “If only I hadn’t allowed him to leave, maybe this wouldn’t have happened,” Melanie said.

But where do you turn when your heart is breaking and giving up is not an option?

One night, while feeling completely lost, Melanie came across The 700 Club Asia on television. The real-life stories of restored marriages and lives deeply moved her.

“I felt like the hosts were praying for someone exactly like me,” she said. That night, she didn’t just watch, she believed.

She held on to God’s Word and prayed for healing.

Instead of sinking into bitterness, Melanie chose to give. She started supporting CBN Asia and found joy in helping others even as she prayed for her own breakthrough.

God honored Melanie’s faith. Little by little, things began to shift. One day, her husband opened up and admitted his mistake. He asked for forgiveness, not just with words, but with sincerity that Melanie truly felt.

He said he wanted to change. This time, Melanie saw it wasn’t just talk. It was different.

With a heart still healing but now filled with hope, she chose to forgive and to believe that God could restore not just their relationship, but everything that was broken. It wasn’t easy, but it was real. And it was the beginning of something new.

As their marriage healed, so did their finances. Melanie’s small food business, which she had started to make ends meet, began to grow. More customers came. Meanwhile, her husband landed a better job in Saipan.

It was blessing after blessing, proof that God was moving in their lives.

“When you trust the Lord, He is the only One who can truly help and never disappoint,” Melanie testified.

Grateful for how God restored her family and blessed her business, Melanie continued to give to CBN Asia. Her heart is now full of hope and purpose, ready to help others find the same peace she did.
