God loves you.
These three words are commonly heard, but many still don’t fully understand or have felt it in their lives.
God’s love is shown throughout the Bible. And that love is still available for you today.
The love of God brings peace, hope, and joy that transcend any circumstance in your life.
Here are three keys to experience God’s boundless love for you.
1. Seek God in Prayer
Seeking God is dwelling in His presence. Sometimes, with all the busyness of this world, people tend to forget that God is with them.
Set a specific prayer time with God. Surrender all your concerns to Him. God will meet you and embrace you with His love wherever and whatever situation you find yourself in right now.
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. 2. Read the Word of God
As you seek God in prayer, understand more about His great love for you by reading His Word. You can find the promises of God, on which to anchor your faith, in the Bible.
Devote a time in your everyday life joyfully reading His Word. As you meditate on the Good News of the Lord, you will also understand His boundless goodness and unconditional love.
“Desire God’s pure word as newborn babies desire milk. Then you will grow in your salvation. Certainly you have tasted that the Lord is good!” (1 Peter 2:2-3 GW)
3. Abide in God’s ways
Now that you’ve already grasped the essence of dwelling in the presence of God and meditating in His Word, persevere to abide by the things He called you to do.
Walking in God’s ways lets you experience the immeasurable love of God that goes with you every day.
“We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.” (1 John 4:16 NLT)
At this point, you probably know in your head that God loves you so dearly. And this love will enable you to have a life of peace, joy, and love.
But but in order to truly experience the fullness of His love, you need to accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
His sacrifice on the cross for the forgiveness of your sin is the ultimate manifestation of God’s love and grace for you.
