CBN Asia Pillars Celebrate Breakthroughs and Blessings Beyond Measure

To celebrate God’s faithfulness and honor the incredible individuals who have invested in God’s work through CBN Asia, the ministry held its annual “Pillars” event at Every Nation in Bonifacio Global City, on October 22.

The gathering began with beautiful music from our talented Reverb Worship artists—Joselle Feliciano, James Reyes, Rhea Rodriguez, and Vee Jay dela Calzada.

Their soulful performances created an uplifting atmosphere, setting the tone for the event. They also led everyone into heartfelt worship, praising God for all He has done for the ministry and everyone’s personal lives.

The iconic Dulce, who is an active volunteer of Operation Blessing and former host of The 700 Club Asia, graced the event with her powerful voice.

Donors and partners shared inspiring testimonies. Their lives testify to God’s kindness in answering desperate prayers and remind everyone that no one can ever outgive Him. They also shared how God stirred their hearts to support the CBN Asia Family of Ministries.

“CBN Asia helps many people, and they are a good soil,” said Jose Taming, who’s been supporting the ministry since 2013.

As a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, new donors received tokens of appreciation for their support. Long-time donors and partners who have consistently and sacrificially supported CBN Asia received special awards, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the organization.

CBN Asia’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, John Tan, shared a compelling report on CBN Asia’s milestones, highlighting how the organization continues to adapt to the evolving media landscape and maximize digital platforms to share God’s message of hope with more people here and abroad.

That’s why Ernestina Bulauan, a dedicated donor of over 10 years, finds giving to CBN Asia truly worth it.

“I am confident that everything we contribute to CBN Asia is effectively used for charitable purposes,” Ernestina shared.

Meanwhile, CBN Asia President and CEO Peter Kairuz delivered a timely and inspiring message, reminding everyone that “God is a God of Breakthroughs.” His words echoed God’s power and ability to make things happen even beyond our understanding.

He also led the audience in a prayer of blessing, declaring breakthroughs and favor over the lives of the donors and partners.

“Thank you. We are able to do what we do because of you and the graciousness of God. We partner together in this battle: to win the future generations for the Lord.”

Thank you to all our Pillars! Your generosity is changing lives, and we look forward to seeing many more breakthroughs as we continue this mission together.

The live set concluded with a powerful rendition of “Love and Light” by Joselle Feliciano and Sheena Lee, accompanied by all the Reverb Worship artists.

Following the live music, the Beyond Measure Worship Celebration was divided into three parts, each representing a decade of CBN Asia’s colorful journey. The First Decade (1994-2004) showcased God’s work during those years. The opening act included performances by Sam Concepcion, Kayla Rivera, along with Joseph the Dreamer musical cast, singing “Praise His Name.”

Next, a ‘90s Praise Medley was performed by Jonathan Manalo, Dennis Campañer, Charmaine Campañer, Trisha Denise, Nolo Lopez, and Sheena Lee, followed by the hymns “Blessed Assurance” and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” in Tagalog, English, and Korean featuring Tricia Amper Jimenez, Carla Martinez, Felichi Pangilinan-Buizon, Arnel De Pano, Rachelle Gerodias-Park, and Byeong In Park.

Asia’s Diva, Dulce, delivered an inspiring rendition of “Ako’y Binago Niya” by Papuri!, leading the audience to accept Jesus in their hearts. The evening worship continued with a performance of the hit song “Hesus,” featuring Terry Javier-Ellis, Ava Canaceli, Viola Natividad, and Sheena Lee.

The Second Decade (2005 – 2014) showcased testimonies from The 700 Club Asia and Operation Blessing. This was followed by the song “Take Me Out of the Dark,” performed by Kayla Rivera, Tanya Manalang-Atadero, and Via Antonio. John Roa, Hazel Faith, Caleb Santos, and the Reverb Worship artists delivered a heart touching rendition of “Great God.”

Afterward, the hosts of The 700 Club Asia introduced the Asian Center for Missions and Operation Blessing, while sharing their experiences in missions and how God has blessed their work and the ministry. Next, Isay Alvarez and Robert Seña sang “Sapagkat ang Diyos ay Diyos ng Pag-ibig,” after which Peter Kairuz and Pastor Erick Totañes shared inspiring messages about God’s faithfulness and how we should respond to it.

As the night progressed into the Third Decade (2015-2024), Jack D’Preacher delivered a powerful performance of his song “Muli,” accompanied by Sharaine and Hazel Faith. “I truly desire that the families and everyone who attended the concert will be filled and experience the move of God in their hearts,” Jack said.

James Reyes performed his original single, “Sa ‘Yong Pangalan,” with EJ De Perio, Nolo Lopez, Neo Rivera, and Jex De Castro. Jonathan Manalo’s rendition of the song “Bahaghari” featured the same artists along with the rest of the Reverb Worship artists, as well as LSDC-Street.

Benj Manalo, Dave Lamar, Angela Ken, Acel, Keiko Necesario, Kai Buizon, and Trisha Denise sang the uplifting praise song “Endless Praise” by Planetshakers, followed by “Goodness of God.” After these performances, testimonies of salvation, healing, and the impact of the Prayer Center were shared, illustrating how many lives have encountered Jesus through the ministry.

Following the testimonies, Donny Pangilinan and Gab Valenciano, together with Reverb Worship artists, performed “Way Maker” and “Whole Heart (Hold Me Now),” leading into Morissette and Dave Lamar’s powerful duet of “This is a Move” and Morissette’s solo performance of “Could You Be Messiah.

Gary Valenciano along with his son Gab danced and rocked the stage with his classic “Shake It Off,” encouraging the audience to let go of what’s weighing them down. Morissette then joined him for a duet of “Blessing,” followed by Gary’s hit songs “Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?” and “Gaya ng Dati,” which resonated deeply with audiences, reminding them that they can always come back to God.

To end the evening, Gary sang “Shout for Joy,” finishing with a heartfelt version of Elevation Worship’s “The Blessing” alongside RJ Dela Fuente and all the artists who performed that night.

Peter Kairuz prayed and reminded the crowd, “Be expectant and have faith in what God can do! If He gave His life for us, He would also care about our desires. If He sacrificed for our sins, we could trust that He hears our prayers. Believe that He wants to bless us beyond measure!”

Gelaine Resurreccion, one of the concertgoers, shared that the worship celebration deeply touched her heart.

“What resonated with me was when Pastor Erick said that ‘God knows everything about what you can’t express, and He understands your pain. In your silence, He keeps working.’ I am so thankful because through this concert, I experienced God’s restoration and love again.”

We praise God for His goodness and faithfulness to CBN Asia for the past 30 years! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who celebrated with us. To continue supporting God’s work through CBN Asia, we invite you to partner with us, visit cbnasia.com/give.

“This Medical Brigade is Truly a Blessing!”: Here’s How You Bring Hope and Healing to Our Kababayans in Ilocos Norte

With your generous help, Operation Blessing’s Medical Brigade is able to bring hope and healing to our kababayans in Ilocos Norte.

More than 400 residents received free medical care such as general checkups, dental and optical services, and took home free medicines, hygiene kits, and ‘Our Daily Bread’ devotionals.

One of the beneficiaries is Nanay Dominga.

During her free consultation with Operation Blessing’s doctors, Nanay Dominga shared her health struggle: she could not stand extreme heat; the hot weather made her feel weak.

“When the weather is hot, I feel very weak, like a wilted vegetable,” she said in vernacular. After suffering a stroke six years ago, she has been particularly sensitive to heat, and the current weather worsened her condition.

She would bathe every afternoon to refresh herself and lessen the heat she was experiencing. However, it was not enough—she needed to consult with a doctor for medication and vitamins.

Thanks to Operation Blessing’s medical mission in their community, Nanay Dominga received free check-ups and essential medicine and vitamins to alleviate her condition. The team also gave her a hygiene kit, and a copy of ‘Our Daily Bread’ devotional, and prayed for her continuous healing.

“This medical brigade is truly a blessing!” Nanay Dominga shared.

She also has a heartfelt message for Operation Blessing staff, donors, partners, and volunteers who made this medical brigade happen, “Your generous work is a great help, and I pray that God sees your sacrifices. May He give you strength, long life, and good health, and may we all be protected from any danger.”

More than a decade after Typhoon Yolanda, survivors continue to build back better as Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm, officially handed over the Community of Hope (COH) housing project’s common areas to the local government unit during a turnover ceremony held at Tacloban City Hall, on May 31.

CBN Asia and Operation Blessing President Peter Kairuz, along with Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez, graced the turnover ceremony, which featured their signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Deed of Donation for Lot No. 4109—a parcel of land and a building within the COH resettlement area in Palanog.

“We warmly welcomed the visit of Operation Blessing President Mr. Peter Kairuz, along with other officials, for the ceremonial signing. Their ‘Community of Hope’ project symbolizes their continued support and collaboration with our local government to provide additional assistance to Taclobanons,” Romualdez said.

Aside from building 100 resilient homes, Operation Blessing has helped most families become self-sustainable by providing livelihood assistance. The organization has also offered free healthcare during various medical missions and partnered with Divine Word Hospital for health checkups. Moreover, deserving students have received scholarships through the Back-to-School program.

The latest turnover marks a significant milestone in Operation Blessing’s exit strategy, ensuring that Community of Hope and its residents will continue to thrive under local governance. Nonetheless, Operation Blessing’s support for Tacloban continues, ready to provide assistance whenever needed.

5 Lessons Everyone Needs to Learn from the All-New Superbook Season 5 Episodes

The all-new episodes of Superbook Season 5 are coming on June 3 on A2Z and Kapamilya Channel! Are you excited about the new adventures with Chris, Joy, and Gizmo?

Here are five life lessons you can learn from Superbook Season 5:

Lesson #1: Be patient with those who struggle to believe in God

In the episode “Doubting Thomas,” Chris tried to tell other kids about God, but they just laughed at him. He learned that some people find it hard to believe in God, so he became patient and found ways to connect with them.

Telling others about God can be challenging, but we are called to be patient and kind as we do it (1 Peter 3:15-16).

Lesson #2: Accomplish all the tasks God gives you

Do you always find yourself struggling to accomplish a task? God assures us that we can do whatever He assigns us because He will give us the strength and wisdom we need (2 Corinthians 12:9).

In the 2-part episode “Paul and the Unknown God,” Paul preached with wisdom and boldness that comes from the Lord. He persevered because He wanted people to know the one true God.

Lesson #3: Give joyfully

In the episode “The Widow’s Mite,” a poor widow gives everything she has with a cheerful heart. Through this, Chris learns that giving is an act of worship to the Lord.

This story teaches us that an obedient and sincere heart is more important than what we give to Him (Luke 21:1-4).

Lesson #4: Trust in God’s plan, no matter the circumstances

When Joy faced a difficult situation, she found it hard to trust God. In the episode “Paul Keeps Faith,” Joy learns to keep believing in God even when her circumstances seem hopeless.

Even in difficult times, God promises to be with us, encouraging us through His Word and the people around us (Romans 8:37-39).

Lesson #5: Read and Obey God’s Word

In the episode “The Sermon on the Mount,” Chris and Joy struggled to fully understand the lessons Jesus taught them. This episode teaches us to read God’s Word and to put it into practice.

The Holy Spirit will guide every believer in living a life that is pleasing to God (John 14:26).

Don’t miss the wonderful lessons of Superbook Season 5! Join the fun Bible adventures every Monday to Friday, at 8:30 A.M on A2Z and Kapamilya channel.
