The Asian Center for Missions (ACM), CBN Asia’s missionary training arm, marked three unhindered decades of sharing the gospel to the nations, through a special gathering of missionaries, partners, and friends, at Dusit Thani, Makati, on July 5.

The event celebrated stories of faith in action: 2,795 missionaries trained, 1,354 deployed to the world’s most unreached region, and 74 nations touched by the hope of the gospel. Each number represents a life that said “yes” to the calling, a soul that now knows Jesus, and a generation being transformed.
Missionaries serving in various counties came dressed in traditional attire, mostly of the countries where they minister — a colorful testament to the diversity of cultures and people groups reached by ACM-trained missionaries over the years.

Hosted by The 700 Club Asia’s Kata Inocencio and Alex Tinsay, the celebration commenced with a meaningful parade of flags, honoring the countries reached by ACM-trained missionaries. Voices rose together in a moving time of praise and worship, celebrating God’s faithfulness to the ministry.
Bishop Leo Alconga, serving on the ACM Board of Trustees, opened with a heartfelt prayer, expressing gratitude to the Lord for the missionaries’ dedication and for how He has worked through ACM over the years.

Peter Kairuz, ACM Chairman of the Board and President and CEO of CBN Asia, then gave his warm welcome to the guests, and shared an inspiring message which reminded everyone of the true measure of ACM’s impact over the years.
“These past 30 years are not just about numbers or nations. They’re about souls who know Jesus as Lord and Savior because someone chose to go, someone prayed, someone gave, and someone persevered,” he said.

ACM Co-Founder and 1st International Vice President, Dr. Miguel Alvarez, encouraged the missionaries and partners, “God will enable you. The Holy Spirit will be with you as you go. He who is wise wins souls. The world is waiting for you.”
A moving segment of testimonies from ACM-trained missionaries highlighted the real impact of the ministry — stories of transformed lives and communities, and the perseverance of ordinary people responding to an extraordinary call.
Danny Bayasen, ACM Philippine Director, delivered an inspiring report on what God has done through ACM in the past 30 years and shared a bold vision for 2030.

“We cannot do it alone, but together we can do more things with the Lord,” he said.
In a moving display of global impact, missionaries greeted everyone in their mission field’s native language and proclaimed the name of Jesus. The crowd then joined in a united prayer for the nations.
A powerful message from Gordon Robertson, ACM Founder and CEO of The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), called on the people to continue to answer God’s call to “Ekballo” — a Greek word which means “to drive or send out.”
“The best way is for you to be filled with God’s love that when you hear that there’s an unengaged people group, you are going to say in your innermost being, ‘I can’t stay here. I have to go and preach the gospel!’”

Long-time ACM partner and Board of Trustee Carol Roa also shared why she said “yes” to partnering with ACM and encouraged others to invest in missions.
“Jesus is the owner. He has not transferred the ownership of what He has given us. Everything belongs to God — we are just stewards.”

The gathering concluded with a prayer led by ACM Board of Trustee Pastor Paul Ignacio, sealing the time with thanksgiving and dedication for the years ahead.
In the afternoon, Paul and Ashley Lackie ministered personally to the missionaries, declaring words of encouragement and prophecies to strengthen and refresh those on the frontlines.

For 30 years, the Asian Center for Missions has faithfully carried out its mandate: to train, send, and care for missionaries who serve among the world’s least-reached people groups. To learn more or to partner with ACM, visit https://acmnet.org/.
