Tender and sincere, “Hintay” is a Christian contemporary ballad that speaks to those waiting on God’s timing—especially in matters of love, relationships, and marriage. Sung from the perspective of a woman praying for her future husband, the track gently reminds listeners that waiting on the Lord is never in vain.
“Waiting means trusting God and believing that He’s preparing something beautiful for us,” Jezliah shared. “I hope Hintay reminds people that they are not being left behind, and that there’s so much hope and beauty in trusting God’s perfect timing.”
The track features Jezliah’s warm, faith-filled vocals set to a soft pop-ballad arrangement reminiscent of Brooke Fraser and Moira. Brought to life through the musical arrangement of Jezliah and Cid Palma, the single was mixed and mastered by Palma and co-produced with Ivy Catucod of Reverb Worship.
