“This is the last that we have… what if we give it to God’s ministry?”
This was the question Allan Perez and his wife asked. A question that led to a life-changing decision. With the last money they had, they chose to give to CBN Asia.
Allan owned a small eatery, but because of low sales, he had to close it permanently. With the business gone, he asked himself, “What now?” They only had Php 1,000 left, and his two children were still going to school.
Using that Php 1,000, Allan decided to start a small fried chicken business. He bought a few chickens and sold them to his former eatery customers.
But the business did not start well. There were days when he sold only one chicken, sometimes not even enough for their daily needs.

Moved by the call to give, Allan and his wife did not hesitate. They gave the last two hundred pesos they had.
God did not fail them. Through their joyful and heartfelt giving, their business slowly began to grow. Orders started coming in, and as God continued to bless their family, Allan also continued to support CBN Asia through regular giving.
Even when the pandemic hit in 2020, their business was not affected. God provided for their children’s education, and they were able to finish college. The Lord also blessed them with not just one, but two new fried chicken shop. Their business continues to grow.
