Her life changed overnight when her husband, Roberto, suffered a massive stroke on October 17, 2023. Rushed to the ER, he was given a GCS3 rating—just a step away from brain death. Doctors told Jenifer that her husband only had 48 hours to live.
But in the face of heartbreaking news, she chose to cling to hope.
For three long weeks, Roberto remained in a coma. And during that time, Jenifer carried a quiet but overwhelming weight. He was the provider, the decision-maker of their family, and now, she was left to make sense of it all on her own.

In her search for comfort, Jenifer began watching The 700 Club Asia on YouTube and Facebook, something she had once watched as a child. Remembering the Prayer Center, she decided to call.

“I poured out my heart even though I didn’t know who I was talking to. After the counselor prayed for me, I felt strengthened and ready to face my problems,” Jenifer shared.
Then came a breakthrough. On Roberto’s birthday, he opened his eyes.
To Jenifer, it was no accident. It was God reminding her, “I see you. I am with you.”
From that moment, Roberto’s recovery continued… slow but steady. By March 2024, he could speak again. He had his breathing tube removed, began walking, driving, and even playing the guitar. The same hands that once felt lifeless are now strumming with life again.
Through it all, Jenifer credits God and the 700 Club Asia and Prayer Center for carrying her through the darkest season of her life. It became her safe space, a source of hope, strength, and reminders that she was never alone.
