Are You Searching for Your Purpose in Life?

You may have asked yourself, “What am I really here for?”

Sometimes, struggles and failures can make you feel far from the things that once gave you joy and purpose. But even when you feel lost, God can still lead you back to the life He prepared for you.

For Mary Grace , that purpose was found through music.

The first time she attended a church and heard praise and worship songs, she felt God speaking to her heart and calling her closer to Him.

At 17 years old, Mary Grace started writing songs that reflected her faith. One of those songs was “Sigaw ng Puso,” which she wrote in only ten minutes. Songwriting became a way to honor God and touch other people’s lives.

“I felt God’s presence whenever I wrote songs. It felt like He was beside me, moving through every lyric I wrote,” she recalled.

But as she entered adulthood and worked in the corporate world, temptations and wrong decisions slowly pulled her away from God. Eventually, she became pregnant before getting married, and guilt weighed heavily on her heart.

Like Mary Grace, do you feel lost and disconnected from the purpose God once placed in your heart?

During her sleepless nights, Mary Grace would watch The 700 Club Asia and feel God speaking to her again.

“I felt so convicted, and deep inside, I heard God saying, ‘Fix your life. I’m still here, My child. You can always come back to Me,’” she shared.

Mary Grace found the courage to return to God. She got married, rebuilt her life, and became active again in church. He also called her back into music ministry, where she continued using her songs to encourage others and share His love.

But in 2024, their family went through a traumatic situation that left deep emotional wounds. It became so overwhelming that Mary Grace decided to leave music completely.

“I quit music. I stopped writing songs because I thought I needed to let go of everything and just focus on my family,” she lamented.

Even when Mary Grace stepped away from ministry, God continued reaching out to her. Through The 700 Club Asia and the CBN Asia Prayer Center, she experienced comfort during one of the hardest seasons of her life.

“I was touched when CBN Asia would message me and ask, ‘Would you like us to pray for you? We’re here for you.’ It made me feel God’s love. Sometimes, simply knowing that someone remembers you when you need comfort means so much.”

Mary Grace then received an invitation to join the Open Mic event of CBN Asia Reverb Worship. At first, she hesitated because she no longer wanted to return to music. But during the event, God slowly restored her heart.

“That night, we sang together again as a family. Not because we were already whole, but because God is whole. It was never about performance—it was about surrender.”

Today, Mary Grace continues to share her testimony through music. Her song “Sigaw ng Puso” has reached more than 100,000 streams on Spotify, and God continues to open doors for her to minister in different places.

Looking back, Mary Grace realized that God never abandoned her, even during the moments when she felt lost, broken, and unworthy.

“With God, I am secure because I know He loves me. And when God loves you, you can be sure that He has a beautiful plan for your life,” Mary Grace ended.

Are You Praying for a Child?

You keep waiting, but it feels like nothing is happening.

Waiting seasons can be difficult. The longer it takes, the easier it is to feel frustrated, discouraged, and unsure if it’s still worth trusting God. In the silence, hope can start to fade. You start to wonder, “Is it worth it to wait and trust God?”

The story of Jacqueline De Silva and her husband will encourage you to trust and wait on God even in the middle of uncertainty.

Jacqueline and Dennis got married in 2009. But they struggled to have a child and discovered that she had Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), making it difficult for her to conceive.

“We felt frustrated and afraid of possibly not having a baby,” Jacqueline recalled.

For Jacqueline, the news was heartbreaking. Their situation tested their faith.

Yet despite unanswered prayers and moments when God seemed silent, they did not lose hope. They chose to believe, trust, and wait on Him.

With The 700 Club Asia as their prayer partner, Jacqueline felt led to give to the ministry. Despite what they were going through, she stepped out in faith, obeyed God, and chose to be a blessing to others.

God honored their faith, obedience, and commitment. Finally, they were blessed with their first child. Dennis also received a job promotion and the Lord also provided them with a condominium unit.

Later on, they were blessed with a second child.

“God is unpredictable yet truly reliable. There are times when it feels like He is not answering, but just in the nick of time, He moves in His own ways. In ways that leave you truly amazed,” Jacqueline shared.

Like Jacqueline and Dennis, you may be praying for a child, or going through other circumstances where your faith, patience, and trust is being tested. May their journey remind you that waiting and trusting in God is worth it.

God’s silence doesn’t mean His absence. He listens, He is always present, and at work. Even when nothing seems to be happening, continue to trust Him, and be in awe of how He faithfully and beautifully unfolds His plans.

In seasons of uncertainty, you can choose to trust God because He is faithful and reliable.

“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23, NIV)

Can God Use My Business to Bless Others?

Janelle Go discovered that a business can be more than a source of income—it can also become a platform to impact lives and glorify God.

Their family business, DB Audio, was established in 2000 with the mission of providing quality yet affordable sound systems to Filipinos nationwide. They believed that music has been an important part of Filipino culture, especially during celebrations and community gatherings.

In its early years, the company primarily focused on selling reliable sound systems and appliances. Beyond simply offering products, the team aspired to create something more meaningful.

But the journey was not that easy.

“We wanted DB Audio to make an impact, but we were still figuring out what that meant. We also didn’t know anyone in the music industry who could guide us, so building the business was very challenging,” said Janelle, Marketing Director of DB Audio and Astron Philippines, and daughter of the owner.

Because of the strong competition in the industry, it was difficult for them to establish and promote their brand. Janelle faced significant pressure and challenges along the way, and eventually, the weight of these responsibilities became overwhelming, leading her to take a break.

During her break, she came across an invitation to Reverb Worship’s “Risen: A Resurrection Sunday Gig.” Wanting to unwind and reconnect through worship music, she invited her father to attend with her.

To her surprise, the event was packed, especially with young people. There, she witnessed powerful performances from Rhea Rodriguez, JDP Jack D’ Preacher, and other Reverb Worship artists.

After the event, Janelle realized that it was the rest she needed. She felt that God truly spoke to her heart, and this experience became a turning point for her and her family in discovering a deeper purpose for DB Audio.

“God gave me a vision that He will use our brand not just to sell speakers, but to bring hope, love, and restoration to Filipinos,” Janelle shared.

They began partnering with Reverb Worship, the music arm of CBN Asia. As the company continued to grow, they experienced how God opened many doors.

“More than the financial provision, we really saw God giving us the right people and the right opportunities for our business,” she added.

They later expanded their partnerships with other CBN Asia ministries, such as the Asian Center for Missions and Operation Blessing. Through these, Janelle and her father witnessed how DB Audio and Astron Philippines continued to flourish, not just as a business, but as a blessing to others.

“I’ve really experienced the faithfulness of God. He is truly reliable,” Janelle testified.
