How Can I Share Christ During Holy Week?

Holy Week is a time when many people seek peace, reflect on life, and draw closer to God. As believers, this is a great opportunity to share the love of Christ and help others know Him as their Lord and Savior.

If you are looking for ways to share Christ this Holy Week, here are some simple yet meaningful ways to do so:

1. Invite your friends and family to church

Many churches hold special Holy Week services that focus on Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection. If your church has one, invite your loved ones to come with you. Worshiping together can be a good way for them to experience God’s presence.

The Bible reminds us to gather as believers and encourage one another in faith: “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another” (Hebrews 10:25).

Attending a church service can help them understand the true meaning of Holy Week and draw them closer to Christ.

2. Share stories of God’s goodness in your life

Personal testimonies are one of the most powerful ways to share Christ. When talking with friends or family, share how God has worked in your life—whether through answered prayers, guidance in difficult times, or unexpected blessings.

Being open about both struggles and victories allows others to see God’s faithfulness.

The Psalmist expressed the importance of sharing personal experiences of God’s goodness when he invited people to listen as he shared the good things that God has done to him (Psalm 66:16). Your story can encourage others to trust in God and seek Him in their own lives.

3. Share your faith through social media

In today’s digital world, social media is a great platform to share your faith. Many people are online, especially during Holy Week, as they relax and take a break.

Posting a Bible verse, a reflection, or a personal testimony can reach someone who needs encouragement. The Bible calls us to declare God’s goodness to the world (Psalm 96:3), and a simple post may be exactly what someone needs to be reminded of God’s love.

4. Watch something meaningful together

Another way to share Christ is by inviting your loved ones to watch an inspiring program about faith like CBN Asia’s Holy Week Special, Tanikala presents “Preso,” airing on Good Friday, April 18, at 5:30 PM on GMA.

This story can start conversations about faith and God’s grace. Watching together can be a simple yet meaningful way to reflect on Christ’s goodness and inspire others to seek Him.

Jesus gave us the greatest mission—to share the Good News with others (Matthew 28:19). Let’s obey His Word and bring others closer to Him.

Whether through an invitation, a conversation, or a simple act of sharing online or spending time with loved ones, the best gift you can give is the message of God’s love and salvation.
