Reverb Worship Shines at Awit Awards, Aliw Awards; Shares Spotlight with BINI, SB19, and Other OPM Icons

Reverb Worship, the music arm of CBN Asia, continues to make waves in the Philippine music industry as it gains recognition during the recently concluded 37th Awit Awards, held at the Music Museum.

Earning recognition alongside some of the most well-known and celebrated artists like P-pop sensations BINI, SB19, and Lola Amour, Reverb Worship artists showcased the growing influence of Christian Contemporary Music on the national stage.

Gospel rapper JDP Jack D’Preacher was named a finalist for Best Solo Performance by a Solo Artist and a contender for People’s Voice Favorite New Solo Artist. Meanwhile, James Reyes, celebrated for his heartfelt and faith-driven songs like Sa’Yong Pangalan, was nominated for People’s Voice Breakthrough Artist.

“Gospel Rap at the Awit Awards? I guess we made history. Who would have thought?” JDP Jack D’Preacher reflects on the unexpected achievement. The Muli singer continued, “Forever thankful to my Reverb Worship PH Family. What an adventure! Thank you to CBN Asia for believing in this song. All praises to Jesus!”

Reverb Worship Project Manager and Producer Ivy Catucod expressed gratitude that prestigious award-giving bodies like Awit Awards recognize the label’s mission to create music that inspires and transforms. It is presented annually by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI) to celebrate outstanding achievements in the local music scene.

“Attending our very first Awit Awards this year was a meaningful milestone. To receive six nominations and have one category as a finalist under our label, Reverb Worship marks a significant advancement for Christian Contemporary Music. We are excited to share more inspirational songs and creative endeavors in the coming months, all dedicated to advancing the kingdom of God through music and the arts.”

Adding to their accolades, Reverb Worship artists are also finalists in the upcoming Aliw Awards. Neo Rivera is a finalist for Best Inspirational/Gospel Singer (Male), Hazel Faith for Best Inspirational/Gospel Singer (Female), and Reverb Worship PH for Best Inspirational/Gospel Group. The Aliw Awards ceremony will take place on December 18.
