Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, CBN Asia’s humanitarian arm, has launched its first ever, state-of-the-art mobile clinic to bring free basic medical care to the doorsteps of our kababayans in need.
On its launch last December 15 at Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, the mobile clinic served military dependents during a medical mission with Eastern Communications and Rotary Camp Aguinaldo, through the 7th Civil Relations Group – Civil Relations Service Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
Manned by trained staff, volunteers, and partner medical practitioners, the mobile clinic will deliver free dental, medical, laboratory, and pharmacy services to underserved communities in both rural and urban areas.
Operation Blessing Philippines President Peter Kairuz, Managing Trustee John Valdes Tan, and Commander of the Civil Relations Service AFP Major General Manuel Sequitin graced the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“We thank God for our partnership with AFP for more than 25 years and we are so grateful to the Lord that we launched our mobile clinic. It feels great! To our partners, we thank you for your love, prayers, and support to Operation Blessing. I hope you continue to partner with us so we can do more all over the country,” Kairuz said.
This is the latest of the organization’s ongoing efforts to make medical support more accessible amid the pandemic and improve the lives of our most vulnerable kababayans.
