Finance Manager



Fund allocation, planning, control, organizing, and directing of financial resources and financial activities of the company.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assists in the formulation of log frame and action plan and Budget Preparation;
  • Monitors and directs the implementation of log frame and action plan;
  • Develops performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction;
  • Participates in critical decisions as a member of the leadership team;
  • Monitors cash balances and cash forecasts;
  • Manages the capital request and budgeting processes;
  • Manages the accounting and treasury departments;
  • Oversees the financial operations of satellite offices operations;
  • Manages any third parties to which functions have been outsourced;
  • Oversees company’s transaction processing systems;
  • Implements operational best practices;
  • Oversees issuance of financial information;
  •  Reviews and approves checks releases;
  • Reports financial results to management and/or board of directors;
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies;
  • Report risk issues to the COO/EVP;
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations;
  • Maintain banking relationships;
  • Represent the company with depository banks;
  • Interviewing Finance staff applicants, conducting department orientation and training sessions, delegating assignments and projects to employees, mentoring new and current employees, rewarding employees for good work, taking disciplinary actions when needed, and responding to and finding solutions to problems within the department.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in  Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Extensive experience in all areas of finance, accounting and budgeting
  • Extensive knowledge of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other statutory requirements
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Experience in Quickbooks an advantage
  • Ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff
  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and decision making skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
