The Superbook Bisaya Caravan: Sabay-Sabay Lilipad continues its mission of sharing God’s love with children across the southern Philippines. This time, the team traveled to Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, to bring the Good News of Jesus through songs, games, and a memorable time with the SuperCrew and everyone’s favorite robot friend, Gizmo!
One of the certified Batang Superbook fans they met was Ravon. While the SuperCrew was passing through the market, they noticed a young boy quietly watching them. At first, they thought he was simply being friendly—until they realized his eyes were fixed on the Gizmo design printed on a crew member’s shirt.
When they approached him, his mother, Rosemarie, shared that Ravon is a huge Superbook fan. It was perfect timing, because the Caravan had an event that same day at Victory Dumaguete, so the team happily invited the whole family.
Ravon and his family arrived early. He came excitedly, proudly wearing the mini Superbook bag he had received from one of the SuperCrew.
Growing up in a Christian home, Ravon has been learning about who God is and what the Bible teaches. “My son loves watching Superbook,” Rosemarie shared. “He and his sister used to watch it on TV. Now, they watch it on the phone.”
She emphasized the importance of choosing shows that teach good values and help children honor the Lord. “I watched Superbook when I was single. Now that I have a family, I want my kids to know it, too. I encourage parents to let their children watch shows that teach values, like Superbook. It will help them as they grow.”
As the event began, the children filled the venue with vibrant energy. They danced enthusiastically, and many parents joined in. They later watched the Superbook episode Miracles of Jesus, learning about the true and amazing miracles only Jesus can do.
Excitement grew even more during the games, especially Galactic Word Quest, where kids searched for names of Bible characters. Many children rushed to the stage, eager to participate.
To wrap up the day, the kids finally met Gizmo, danced The Salvation Poem, and took pictures with him. Each child also went home with a Superbook loot bag.
