Job Description:
CCRD RDEV Coordinator’s primary function is to help raise funds for the programs and operation of the organization and manage donation and donor-related activities.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Responsible in coming up with a realistic and effective resource development strategy and appropriate programs.
- Ensures effective implementation of approved resource development programs and activities.
- Identifies, recommends, and pursues opportunities for partnership development and networking, and cultivates relationships with existing and potential CORPORATE partners.
- Helps develop, recommends, and implements an effective system for responding to the needs of and enhancing relationships with donors, and periodically reviews systems to ensure maximization of resources and output.
- Works closely with the CCRD Director and the other members of the team to assess the effectiveness of programs and projects and makes appropriate recommendations.
- Always ensures responsible representation of the organization.
- Helps ensure sound financial administration through responsible budget planning and management and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Ensures prompt and adequate processing of donations.
- Prepares regular and special donor reports.
- Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in resource development work for an NGO/NPO an advantage
- Working knowledge of resource development practices and procedures
- Understanding of biblical principles of fundraising
- Understanding of basic principles of TV production an advantage
- Good organizational, planning, analytical, decision-making, and presentation skills
- Sound English proficiency skills; knowledge of other languages and dialects an advantage
- Excellent people skills across socio-economic classes
- Ability to network and build rapport at the corporate level
- Existing network of influencers and contacts an advantage
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to work well under pressure and to adapt to sudden changes
- Computer proficiency (MS applications)
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently
- Driving skills an advantage
