Job Description:
Responsible for developing and managing established service level agreements (SLA) for information and communication technology (ICT) services for the CBN Asia Family of Ministries with the IT service operations/desk team. The following are the action areas of the IT Services Manager:
- Manages the full-service cycle of IT service delivery from selection, deployment, usage, upgrade, disposal, compliance, inventory, sustainability, cost optimization, and protection of all IT asset portfolio (system and network infrastructures, servers, desktop/laptop workstations, operating systems, applications, and peripherals).
- Identifies and oversees systems development and enhancement, and the integration of new systems with existing systems
- Identifies and oversees the provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
- Provides business analysis (IT Operations) by visualizing and articulating IT requirements and solutions, solves complex IT problems and concepts, and make disciplined decisions based on available information.
- Life-cycle management of all ICT assets (software, hardware, intellectual property, license, and warranties.
- Keeps current with the latest technologies and determines what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements
- Evaluates software and hardware vendors and solutions
- Manages financial aspects of the department, including purchasing, budgeting, procurement justifications and budget review
- Ensures the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and upgrades
- Communicates regularly with management and all users of information services and systems
- Manages staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline, and discharge
- Develops staff to meet the changing needs of users, groups, and offices; new projects and technologies; and varying staff strengths
- Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, online strategies, and emerging technology as applied in media ministry
- Average 7 to 10 years experience in the IT field
- Experience in religious radio/TV broadcasting is an advantage
- Above-average proficiency in computer and network systems (for voice and data), hardware and software
- Good analytical, judgment, organizational, and time management skills
- Keen eye for detail and ability to process a large amount of information
- Sound understanding of biblical principles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Spiritual maturity
