Event Coordinator


Job Description:

1. Plan, design and produce events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits
2. Liaise with event partners
3. Conduct research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to finalizing agreement
4. Provide feedback and periodic reports
5. Propose ideas to improve event quality
6. Organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as décor, food/catering, entertainment,
transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc.
7. Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
8. Specify staff requirements, source workers, and coordinate their activities
9. Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and event
10. Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
11. Conduct pre- and post- event evaluations and report on outcomes
12. Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Event Management and/or, Marketing Business Management,
Communication Arts
• Proven Event Management Experience
• Excellent presentation and oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino
• Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently
• Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to sudden changes
• Excellent people skills across all ages and socio-economic classes
• Must be willing to work long hours, weekends and holidays
• Excellent time management
• Ability to build productive partner/donor relationships
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
