Reclaiming what she lost
“Na-swindle ako doon sa aking negosyo. Umabot yun ng P4 million.”
Trinity Amoguis was so devastated when everything she owned was taken from her. Her business went down after painstakingly building it up for three years, her house was on loan at the bank for P2 million; the furnitures, the car were used to pay off debt.
But she didn’t question God. She clung to him more.
“Nag-iyak ako kay Lord. Sinabi ko kay Lord lahat ng aking problema… kinanlong ko lahat sa Kanya.”
Trinity felt helpless and insecure, she had nowhere to run to. She cried out for comfort as she daily prayed and meditated on the Bible. Then God spoke to her through Isaiah 41:10 that says, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Despite the dwindling resources, Trinity was faithful in giving the little money that she had to the house of the Lord, and to CBN Asia. She believes that God will take care of her debts if she puts him first. This she does through tithing and giving generously.
“Pag may pera ako, inuuna ko talaga si Lord,” she says. “Lord, itong pera ko, hindi kaya ibayad ng utang; i-invest ko na lang sa Kingdom Mo. Lord, Ikaw na (ang) bahala sa aking mga utang.”
Trinity started buying and selling jewelries to build her income and as she did so, she continued to submit to the Lord her financial circumstance.
After a few years, she was finally lifted up from debt. Aside from being able to reclaim her car from the bank, she was given a new car as well!
“Si Lord lang ang nagbayad ng lahat ng aking utang. Wala akong kakayanang magbayad. Siya lang talaga yun,” she says. “Inuuna ko talaga Siya kasi tinatayuan ko yung Salita na if I will seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, all these things shall be added unto me. So ngayon, I am free.”
