Accomplishments for December 2009:

• Over 11,700 individuals prayed to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior through the combined ministries of The 700 Club Asia, The 700 Club Counseling Center and Operation Blessing.

• Operation Blessing brought cheer and the love of God to over 7,300 children through its annual Holiday of Hope and Cheers (HOHC) project. HOHC events were held in Pangasinan, Misamis Occidental, Davao City, Cotabato City, Rizal and Metro Manila. Majority of the beneficiaries were from Pangasinan. Other beneficiaries included patients at the Pediatric Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit of the Philippine Heart Center, rehab patients at the Philippine General Hospital, and orphans in two foster homes.

• Operation Blessing came to the aid of 89 families who were evacuated from their homes due to the heightened volcanic activity of Mayon Volcano in Legazpi, Albay. From December 26-28, OB provided potable water to the evacuees housed at a center in Guinobatan, Albay. OB also distributed relief bags to 177 families and fed 102 individuals, also in Guinobatan, from December 25-30.

Top Prayer Points for the Month

• Please pray for an expansion of The 700 Club Counseling Center’s network of local church and NGO partners in the provinces and in other countries so that new believers may be nurtured spiritually and people with special needs may be better attended to.

• Pray also for Operation Blessing as it plans for the holding of a disaster relief conference that will teach and equip local churches for responding to disasters. The conference is being planned for April.

• Pray for the Production and Development teams as they prepare for our first telethon for the year, which will be held from February 15-19.
