Accomplishments for April 2009:

• CBN Asia produced and aired a Good Friday special on GMA 7 last April 10. Entitled Tanikala: Bihag ng Kadiliman (Shackles: Captive of Darkness), the TV special attracted over 2.7 million viewers, earning a 16.6% TV rating, the highest in its timeslot according to AGB Nielsen, and placed seventh among all TV programs during the day.

• Operation Blessing served a total of 9,572 individuals through its various outreaches and projects during the month. Many of this month’s beneficiaries are villagers in the provinces of Negros Occidental and Cebu, where OB dedicated 19 wells which now provide clean water to nearly 4,000 residents.

• The Asian Center for Missions conducted missionary care visits in Thailand from April 10 to 16 and in Cambodia from April 16 to 24. The ministry team, led by Peter and Margaret McClewin, tackled various modules, most of which were aimed at addressing deeply rooted issues to pave way for emotional and spiritual healing. Ninety-four people attended the missionary care conference in Thailand, while 44 missionaries came to the missionary care conference in Cambodia, all of whom were revived, refreshed and received inner healing.

Prayer Points for the Month

• Siquijor Medical Mission. Please pray for the Operation Blessing team as it prepares for a medical mission in Siquijor from June 8 to 12. Pray for everyone in the team to be prepared, most of all spiritually, as they go into a territory that is a stronghold of witchcraft and the occult. Pray for signs and wonders, deliverance and a mighty harvest of souls.

• VoIP Facility. Pray for wisdom for our Information Technology team and leaders of the Counseling Department in adapting to changes and challenges brought on by the installation of a Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) facility. Pray for technical challenges to be resolved soon so that the Counseling Center may be able to minister to as many who call the Center for prayer and biblical advice. Pray that the Lord would continue to send people whom He has called to serve Him through the Counseling Center.

• Weekly Webcast. Pray also for our Production team as it prepares to do a weekly webcast of The 700 Club Asia. Pray for the webcast to capture a much bigger audience and harvest of souls all over the world.
